Prepare for your website
A clearer brief means fewer delays and a website that sounds like your business — not a template.
Start with what you sell
Write one plain sentence: who you help, with what, and in which area (city, neighbourhood or nationwide). If a first-time visitor cannot understand this in ten seconds, the homepage will struggle too.
Know who you are talking to
List two or three real customer types — not “everyone”. Note what they usually ask on WhatsApp: price, availability, location, packages, or “do you cover my area?”
Gather proof you already have
- Photos of work, space, products or team (even phone photos, well lit)
- Credentials, years in business, or simple outcome notes
- Google reviews or client names you are allowed to mention
Decide the enquiry path
Most Malaysian SMEs convert on WhatsApp. Confirm the number that should receive messages, operating hours, and whether you need a form as backup. Map one primary action per page.
Bring constraints early
Domain ownership, preferred hosting (including Hostinger later), languages (EN / BM), and must-have pages. Saying these up front keeps packages fixed-scope and honest.
